Kona mbaya, “the worst place” in Svahlili, is name of Korogocho slum. “Men call us paper things,” Damaris Achando (24) claims. “They say they can use us whenever they want and throw us away after.” To help girls to protect themselves, professional boxer and true rasta man Alfred Analo Anjere, known as Priest among locals, trains young ladies how to box. They meet every day in small shabby gym. The best lady boxers became trainers. They train box in schools and in slums of Nairobi and Priest can pay them little money for that. They fight in tournaments. But they also fight with the society. In Kenya, women should not train. Not box. People believe that with box, hair will grow all over the girls body and she become a man.
